My name is Ramon Dailey. I live, work and play in the beautiful small town of Port Townsend, Washington. I was born here and have lived here most of my life, although I lived in several other states as a kid.
I have worked professionally as an IT consultant for over 17 years, since I was 17 years old. My first IT job was working for Olympic Computer Solutions. After that, I worked in the IS Department of Jefferson Healthcare. I then decided to strike out on my own and have been consulting with small businesses ever since.
I have a talented and beautiful teenage daughter named Alanna. Her passion is singing jazz and the blues. She has her own website – www.alannashaladra.com
I also have a gorgeous, loving wife named Tiela, who I married in November of 2010. She works as a veterinarian technician when she’s not struggling to put up with me.
My main hobby involves making movies and putting on shows. My friends Jeff Klock, Matt Ready and I, among others, have made a number of short films over the last several years. Several of them have won awards in the annual 2880 48 Hour film competition. You can see all of our films online at www.tirelessfilms.com.
I also write, direct and act in the annual Dinner and a Murder fundraiser which benefits OlyCAP’s RSVP program. This usually takes place the first weekend in December and is a great deal of fun. The 2010 show was our fifth. It was also my wedding. You can see video of the 2007 and 2008 shows at www.tirelessfilms.com.
I was born and raised in Albany, OR, and went to Oregon State where I met my wife. While I was at OSU, I competed with the Performance Ballroom Troupe as well as a Lindy Hop Performance Group. I later worked for a few different IT firms in Portland as well as at Portland State where I competed in the USABDA Pacific Northwest Regional Ballroom Competition with a Casino Rueda group, while completing my Masters from Drexel in the Management of Digital Information. I then went into the Army for 4 years as a paralegal. When I got out I moved here so that my two children could see their grandparents on a regular basis. My goal for the next year in addition to helping Ramon grow Dailey Computer Consulting, is to become more self-sustainable as we expand our small home farm to include aquaponics. I am also hoping to automate several tasks around our small farm to make everything more efficient as we move toward being off the grid.
Born and raised in Port Townsend, Leah has recently come aboard as our Office Coordinator. She has many years of experience working in the Port Townsend School offices, assisting secretaries and teachers in their day-to-day office needs. Her passion for organization has been a proven asset for Dailey Computer Consulting. Leah is a member of the Port Townsend Kiwanis Club and an active player at the Key City Public Theatre.
I was born and raised in the small town (Population 639) of Ririe, Idaho, which is just south of Yellowstone National Park. After completing High School, I moved to Seattle and attended North Seattle Community College. After finishing an Associates degree, I married my wife, Tess, and moved to Bainbridge Island. I ran my own computer repair business on the Island for over 10 years until moving to Port Townsend in February 2014. I enjoy cooking, baking naturally leavened bread, making amazing cocktails, and teaching Afro/Haitian hand drumming.
Ryan was born in Port Townsend and graduated with the 2009 PTHS class. He spent a year studying aviation in Moses Lake. He has been a member of the Dailey Computer team since December 2014.
